Kothakoli is a home for poets and storytellers. These guidelines keep it kind, safe and original.
Be original
- Post only your own writing, or public-domain works with the author's name.
- Credit quotations and inspirations. Plagiarism leads to removal and may lead to suspension.
Be respectful
- Critique the writing, not the writer. No harassment, bullying, threats or hate based on religion, caste, gender, ethnicity, disability or any other identity.
- Respect privacy: never share someone's personal details.
Keep it safe
- No sexually explicit content, glorification of violence, terrorism or self-harm, or content that endangers children.
- If someone is in crisis, encourage them to reach out to a helpline; please also contact us.
Play fair
- No fake accounts, bots, spam, follow-for-follow or view exchanges, or tricks to inflate views, reactions, gifts or leaderboard rank. Earnings from manipulation will be cancelled.
- No advertising or selling without permission.
Use categories and tags honestly
Choose the right category (poem, story, novel…), language and tags so readers can find your work.
